The Polar Box is designed to offer float-free function of the H20 Hydrostatic Release Units down to minus 50 degrees, a requirement under the IMO Polar Code. The Polar Box shall be installed with HeaterGuard HM-0492  to optimize the heating function in the Polar Box. The installation shall always be done by authorized ship's electrician.
